votes - the difference between the observed and the official number of voters
cases of ballot-stuffing
cases of multiple voting by the same people
The PEC №57 in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic is an example of a completely falsified electoral commission in the North Caucasian Federal District.
There were two cases of ballot-stuffing. Some of the voters put the ballot into the ballot box several times – we observed 11 such cases in total. More than that there were 934 people added to the protocol under the section “The number of ballots in stationary ballot boxes cast only in the premises of the polling stations”, but our observers never saw them appear in the polling station. In total, the voter turnout in the commission was overrated by 3.6 times!
I'm in shock. Does it mean that almost 1000 votes were added light heartedly? (Urszula)
Observation of my commission was really an interesting experience for me. From the very beginning of watching the recordings, I was excited, especially by the fact that in the first minutes I was able to notice the election irregularity.
I believe that the work of an observer is important and quite demanding. Therefore, during the observation I was very focused and unfortunately, maybe I was even too focused on the possible dishonesty of people and commission itself with which I became very familiar. I enjoyed the whole observation process and I have a strong feeling it was time well-spent. However, I was really shocked to hear the official results. I could not believe there was such a discrepancy in the number of votes.
Well, now I feel that the work of an observer really makes sense!
